Hours of work: Up to 5 hours per week

Working pattern: Part-time, Term-time only (As the position is part-time/term-time only, the above salary will be pro rata)

About the Role

Broad Oak Community Primary School is part of the Woodlands Federation of schools and is situated in the High Weald area of East Sussex, on the outskirts of Heathfield.

We are seeking to appoint motivated Midday Supervisory Assistants to assist and supervise children during the lunch break period.

Good communication skills and flexibility are requirements for this position.

Previous experience of working with children is desirable.

You will be required to work 1 hour per day from 12:15 to 13:15. The number of days of work are subject to mutual agreement.

From time to time you may be asked to cover additional days in the event of staff absence etc.

This post is covered by the Childcare Disqualification Regulations 2009. 

The school will need to ensure that they are not knowingly employing a person who is disqualified under the 2009 Regulations in connection with relevant childcare provision.  Accordingly, the successful candidate will be required to demonstrate to the school, by completing a self-declaration form as part of the pre-employment checks process, that they have not been disqualified under the 2009 Regulations. 

If the preferred candidate is found to be disqualified under the 2009 Regulations, the offer of employment will be subject to the application by the preferred candidate to Ofsted for a waiver and the receipt of a waiver from Ofsted.
