About the Role
TEACHER OF SCIENCE Full Time/Full Year - Permanent
This high attaining department, value added in top 4% nationally, is seeking to appoint an excellent teacher of science to join their team from September.
The post is suitable for either experienced or newly qualified teachers with a passion for science and a commitment to the success of all pupils.
The ability to teach across KS3&4 is essential.

Willingdon Community School is a high-achieving and over-subscribed (NOR 1000), 11-16, comprehensive school serving the Eastbourne area.

Examination results at GCSE are consistently high with students of all abilities making good progress and adding significant value, regardless of their starting point.
In 2015 73% of students achieved 5 or more passes at grades A*-C including English and maths and 97% of all students achieved 5 or more at A* – G including English and maths. In addition 34% of all results were at A*/A grades with 42% of students achieving 3 or more A*/A grades.
