As a part of the team you will need to:
• Have a knowledge/experience of working with children and young people with a range of disabilities.
• Be committed to providing opportunities for inclusion of the young people within the service and out in the community.
• Be able to manage Complex and challenging behaviours in a calm and professional manner.
• Be able to support young people with complex needs in all aspects of theirr care during the night. THERE ARE 2 POSTS AVAILABLE 1x 10 hours per week AND 1x 12.5 hours per week
• Work on a rota basis, including weekends working from 21.15pm- 07.15am staying awake to support the young people that are staying and ensure high standards within the home. Work well in a highly motivated and committed team. To be able to work in the different settings for children across the service as required.
