We are currently recruiting for Senior Care Workers in Brighton, East Sussex. Our client is a well established local charity that supports Children and Young Adults with Learning Disabilities.

You will be working in the Brighton residential sites as a Senior Care Worker. To qualify for this position you must have experience working with people with learning disabilities and or challenging behaviour. An NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care is desirable. You must have senior/supervisory experience and have excellent communication skills.

You must be able to plan and organise work effectively to consistently achieve individual, team and organisational objectives to agreed deadlines. You will support resident young people in making their own choices and decisions to the maximum of their capability, and ensure that the needs and wishes of residents are fully considered in any decision relating to them.

We are looking for candidates you are committed to working with young people with learning disabilities and have a willingness to participate and work towards job related training. You will be required to work 40 hours per week based on shifts. There are term time only (38 weeks a year) positions available and also 52 weeks per year positions available.
