About the Role
Would you like to be part of an exciting new joint project between health and education in East Sussex?
The East Sussex School Health Service are looking for a Health Improvement Practitioner who has experience of working with schools and who will guide and develop new ways of working with the school health service, schools, pupils and parents throughout East Sussex
You will be part of a team working with schools to initiate, implement and closely evaluate school health profiles and health action plans. The role also includes supporting the School Health Service to develop and deliver user engagement initiatives, carrying out pupil and parent consultation. We recognise the importance of partnership working and so you will work in partnership with key stakeholders in health and education, building effective working relationships with other organisations across East Sussex.
We need someone with relevant professional qualifications from health or education who has specialist public health knowledge and experience.
You must be an excellent communicator and be able to plan your own work and that of the team to meet deadlines. It’s important that you have the ability to lead and motivate colleagues, as well as excellent organisational skills.

Additional Information
Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
