About the Role

We are looking to appoint a high quality practitioner to cover maternity leave. Teaching Assistant - to work with KS2 for 26 hours per week (8.40am - 11.50am and 1:40pm to 3:25pm) SS grade 3 Point 7 15,074 pro rata and also to include MDSA 6.6 hours per week from 11:50am to 1.10pm (Grade 2 Point 3  13,982 pro rata per annum.

We are seeking to appoint a creative practitioner to work closely with our KS2 team who are committed to a pupil led curriculum; inspiring children to develop an enquiring mind and skills for life. We are a 'Good' school who are highly committed to CPD and will offer appropriate training.  The candidates should have GCSE/O Level in English and Mathematics. Your role will include assisting groups of children with their learning, classroom and school environment displays and supporting the class Teacher with class based tasks.   The candidates will be required to participate in whole school activities and to support the daily work and ethos of a Church of England Primary School. The candidates should be able to work well as part of a team and be prepared to work closely under the direction of the Class Teacher, Head of School and Executive Headteacher.

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
