The Business & Performance Team support the Property & Investment Service which manages repairs and improvements to council housing stock in the city of Brighton and Hove. The team covers the following four areas: Customer Service - You will be expected to deliver a high quality service to our residents including answering enquiries and complaints and carrying out consultations before and after works are carried out. Leasehold Services - You will support leaseholders who have enquiries about services provided by the council and tenants who are interested in buying their council home. Performance and Contract Management - Your duties will include analysing data and calculating performance statistics for our contractors and supporting the team in managing our service providers. Project Management - You will provide project support to important team projects that review and improve our services. If you have never worked or been unemployed for a while, an apprenticeship can often be a great way of gaining valuable work experience whilst studying for a qualification. It can enhance your CV and be a good way of making professional contacts that could help your future chosen career. The post will receive training in a CIH Advanced Apprenticeship in Housing (Level 3) which is run by the Centre for Housing and Support in London. Candidates will be expected to travel to London 3-4 times a year to receive face to face training. You will also receive additional support from a nominated mentor throughout the duration of the Apprenticeship.
