We are looking for qualified Early Years practitioners that can be flexible and can provide ad hoc cover (sometimes at late notice) at our Children's Centre Nurseries. You would be required to step in to cover for staff absences and sometimes provide 1:1 support for individual children.

If this working pattern suits you and you have experience working with the Early Years Foundation Stage in a childcare/nursery setting, have experience providing care and education to children from a wide range of backgrounds including those with special educational needs, have experience working flexibly, have good literacy, good communication skills and the ability to develop good working relationships with parents, staff and other service providers, then this might suit you. The job also requires you to have the ability to co-operate and adhere to health & safety policy, practices and instruction.

Duties will include running activities inside and outside the nursery, supporting key people with individual and small groups of children, preparing and serving snacks, encouraging good nutrition and sociable eating and cleaning the nursery. You will follow the Early Years Foundation Stage and other appropriate legislation and guidance for young children.

Interviews will take place on a monthly basis.
