About the Role

East Sussex Community Voice, ESCV, is a major partner in the health and social care landscape in East Sussex. ESCV delivers the Healthwatch contract as well as contracts which both enable the public to access information on their health and care and which ensure their views are central to the delivery of services in the county.

The Board is looking to recruit a dynamic and innovative leader who can provide day to day operational leadership as well as strategic leadership at Board level. To deliver this high-profile role, you will be committed to the vision, values and principles of ESCV and have a background of successful service delivery and experience of leading an organisation in an environment of change. Ideally you will have business, third sector or public organisation experience at a senior level and a track record of identifying and securing funding streams. Also important is demonstrable experience of successfully managing a wide range of stakeholder relationships including individuals, public sector organisations, the third sector, independent organisations and local communities.

The successful candidate will be entrepreneurial and will be able to demonstrate that they are consumer orientated with a strong sense of the value of community and individual empowerment and the insight this brings to the design, commissioning and provision of health and care services.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
