With a calm, patient and sensitive attitude you will care for children with various special educational needs, disabilities and illnesses on their way to and from school as well as providing a safe, secure and happy environment for them to travel in. You will have experience of working with children and basic first aid knowledge is desirable. Your priority will be to transport the children in the safest way possible. You will also be expected to report any incidents that take place during your duties in written form. You will work split shifts on an ‘as and when required basis’ and there are no guaranteed minimum hours of work. These posts require a suitable level of physical mobility.
