Grace Eyre Supported Living Scheme is looking to recruit an enthusiastic individual who is motivated and inspired to provide high quality services for people with learning disabilities. This vacancy is supporting individuals from their own homes and in the community in the Worthing area. The role will involve supporting the individuals with all aspects of the daily living including providing support with their personal care needs. You will be a part of a team of staff working with individuals across the Coastal area of West Sussex. In the role you will promote the individual's independence by supporting them to build on their strengths and skills; enable them to access the community, and achieve their chosen goals. Relief Support Workers (Brighton and Hove) Various Shifts, 7.85 or 8.53 per hour depending on role. We are looking for enthusiastic and creative people to join our bank of relief staff to help support adults with learning disabilities at our learning and development centres in Hove and in service users’ own homes and out in the community within the East and West Sussex areas. We have a number of roles, which may involve assisting staff in the running of arts, sports & living skills sessions, supporting people to access their local community, increasing independence, providing support with welfare and benefits, increasing confidence and some personal care. Community Outreach and Supported Living serviced provide 24/7 support so you need to be available to work at all times of the week, including sleep-ins and waking nights when required.
