About the Role

The Traveller Team is looking for a part time Sites Officer to work with our Sites Manager to manage our residential Traveller Sites and the Transit Site for the County providing a short term stopping place for Gypsies and Travellers.

As the Sites Officer you will help fulfil the landlord function by assisting with the collection of rent and utility monies; ensuring that residents comply with their site licences; and liaison with the maintenance team and contractors. You will have experience of working with people, especially vulnerable and marginalised people, and liaising with a variety of service providers.

The Traveller Team is a small collaborative team, where work pressures and achievements are shared in a supportive and enabling environment.

Additional Information

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
