About the Role

A vacancy has arisen to join our busy team at Harbour Primary & Nursery School as a Caretaker Level 3 starting at the beginning of July 2017.

Harbour Primary has been on the same site for over two years now with beautiful extended buildings and modern, fresh facilities including a lovely ICT Media Suite, Radio Room, large open activity areas and lots of outside space including two playgrounds, a field and a newly developed garden area. We have 515 children currently on role aged 2 to 11. We are committed to providing rich experiences and opportunities both inside and outside the classroom for all our children.

We are seeking someone able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team to provide a caretaking/cleaning service to ensure a high standard is maintained.  An understanding of the main Health & Safety Regulations including COSHH along with experience of carrying out building maintenance work would be an advantage. There is a team of 4 cleaners and an Assistant Caretaker to support the successful candidate.

The working pattern is 7.00am to 3.00pm Monday & Friday, 7.00am - 3.30pm Tuesday and Thursday and 7.00am to 4.00pm on a Wednesday. There is a one hour unpaid lunch break every day.
