We have an exciting opportunity within the Finance, Performance and Procurement Directorate to lead the council’s client side Accounts Payable Team. The day to day accounts payable function is delivered by Capita and the purpose of the role is to efficiently manage the council’s client side relationship, ensuring the council is compliant with financial regulations. You will be dynamic and self-sufficient to drive through improvements in the council’s accounts payable function to ensure compliance. You will have excellent communication and analytical skills, alongside experience of managing a team.

Previous experience of working in an accounts payable environment is highly desirable.
