We have a new Headteacher starting in September 2017, and she is looking for a dynamic and innovative Deputy Headteacher who understands both children and adults and is able to help them achieve their very best through a culture of care and collaboration. You must be an energetic professional with experience of leading teams, monitoring teaching and learning and raising standards for all children. You should have recent EYFS and/or KS1 experience.
Our new Deputy Headteacher must:
Have the drive to make a real difference to the lives of all our children
Be fully committed to the school's ethos of high expectations, creativity and care
Be able to demonstrate excellent classroom practice, effectively meeting the individual needs of the children
Have proven experience of developing excellence and positively impacting progress and raising attainment
Have a commitment to inclusion and passion for ensuring all pupils reach their full potential
Have the ability to coach, mentor, motivate staff and lead by example
Have excellent leadership, organisational and interpersonal skills
Be resourceful, innovative and calm under pressure
Enjoy working in a school!
The position is full time and permanent, with a start date of January 2018, or sooner if possible. At present the post will include some teaching, but not the main responsibility for a class. Informal visits to the school are strongly recommended so you can see our wonderful school in action, and you are encouraged to speak to the Headteacher designate.
