About the Role

The East Sussex Qualification & Assessment Centre (ESQAC) offers a wide range of vocational qualifications and apprenticeships working with various awarding organisations. We are currently looking for experienced assessors and internal quality assurers who can work for us on a casual basis. You would be employed, however you would have the flexibility to work the hours that suit you and take on as many or as few learners as you have capacity to work with.

We are seeking assessors and IQAs who have good knowledge and skills in Residential Child Care and experience of delivering training. Currently we are developing Apprenticeships in this sector and this role will support this development.

This post is subject to an Enhanced DBS check or Enhanced check for Regulated Activity with the Disclosure & Barring Services (previously the Criminal Records Bureau). Please note that we require evidence of an overseas police check if you have lived or worked abroad.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
