This exciting role is split between the East Sussex and Brighton & Hove Safeguarding Adults Boards (SAB), and will facilitate the effective decision making of the Boards and ensure they effectively carry out statutory duties under the Care Act 2014, by coordinating their quality assurance functions.
The post will focus on coordination of multi-agency audit processes and action planning, ensuring learning is embedded from Safeguarding Adults Reviews and other case reviews and supporting SAB member agencies on improvements to their safeguarding arrangements where this is required.
You will be working closely with colleagues in health, social care, police, voluntary sector and other partners to raise awareness of adult safeguarding and to support the strategy to reduce and stop abuse and neglect of adults. You will therefore have strong multi-agency working skills, be a confident motivator and be able to effectively plan for service change and development.
