Providing services to improve the health and wellbeing of older people has never been more important and this post is key to developing the older people's public health programme.

You will lead the development of the public health programme to improve the health and wellbeing of older people as part of the Brighton & Hove Caring Together Plan to integrate health and social care. This will include a comprehensive and strategic approach to delivering prevention across communities, services and settings, including adopting an Age Friendly City approach to influence the wider determinants of health. This involves working in an integrated way with colleagues in Adult Social Care and the Clinical Commissioning Group as well as other council directorates, NHS, public sector, business and third sector organisations, including local communities.
