About the Role

ASSR is a small, rural, nurturing primary school which strives to achieve the best outcomes for its children.

We are looking for someone to join our small, friendly team who has lots of motivation and loves working with children.

The post is for 13 hours per week worked across two days.

Working pattern:  8:30 am to 12:30 pm and 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm

There is flexibility over which days are worked and this would be negotiated at interview. The successful applicant would teach a foundation subject across our 4 classes as part of the PPA cover.

The successful applicant will have the following skills:

- Excellent communication skills - Ability to work as part of a close team - Flexible and adaptable - Ability to work under own initiative when needed - Ability to follow and implement school policies - Ability to build strong relationships with children built on praise and trust - GCSE Grade C Maths and English (or equivalent qualification) - HLTA Qualification or higher

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
