We are looking for an ambitious and exciting senior manager who can support the journey to excellence, building on the improvements led by the current post-holder over the last 3 years. You will be responsible for social work services that are delivered through small pods working to a relationship based model of practice who stick with a child from the point of assessment through to care, the new Front Door for Families (which brings together our MASH & Early Help Hub), our fostering & adoption services and our exciting new adolescent service which includes our YOS You must be a qualified social worker who can demonstrate how they have improved practice, can engage with partners and listen to the voice of children and young people Essential Qualifications DipSW or equivalent Post qualifying qualifications (e.g. management qualification) Experience Further professional qualification in Social work and HCPC registration. Knowledge and experience of managing large and complex organisations. Experience and expertise in delivery safeguarding social work practice across the childs journey. Awareness of, and sensitivity to, the political implications of professional and managerial decisions Understanding of context of a Local Safeguarding Boards role and responsibilities. Excellent communication, advocacy, presentation, influencing and negotiating skills. Experience working with a range of partners. Senior management experience and a proven track record of success at a senior level. A passion for supporting vulnerable children and young people The salary for this post is up to 88K. Relocation package up to 10K may be available for a candidate who relocates to the area.
