The Pre-school SEN Service has gained national recognition for the quality of it’s provision and plays a major role in the LA’s early intervention strategy. We were graded outstanding in our Ofsted inspection in 2015-16 for our 2 Assessment Nurseries. We are seeking to appoint a 0.5 fte Pre-School Teacher to join our friendly and dynamic team which is motivated by the challenge of supporting pre-school children with SEN and their families The post entails responsibility for a small group of pre-school children with complex SEN and will be based at the Jeanne Saunders Centre We are committed to the delivery of high quality pre-school assessment, intervention and support for the children and families with whom we work. We would like to hear from you if you: Are passionately committed to the development of high quality learning opportunities Have recent proven classroom teaching experience within the Foundation Stage. Have recent teaching experience and expertise in working with young children with complex SEN. Can work effectively and in partnership with parents and carers and colleagues from statutory, voluntary and other agencies. Can be a positive influence on the practice of others.
