About the Role

Wadhurst Primary School is a popular, happy and successful village school, with enthusiastic, well-behaved students who are keen to achieve and staff who are committed to ensuring they have access to great teaching and exciting opportunities.

We are seeking to recruit a part-time Level 3 Early Years Assistant to join the team. The position is permanent.

We have both Wadhurst Nursery and Reception Class in our Early Years Foundation Stage. They are an essential part of our School where our children start their learning journey. There is a lively, caring environment in which great importance is placed on the value of learning through both indoor and outdoor play. Our goal is to offer our children the opportunity to explore, discover and have fun while learning in a secure and positive setting.

To help us achieve our aims, we require a qualified Early Years Assistant, Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 1.00pm. The post is term time only. The successful candidate will be confident in planning and supervising activities and able to observe and monitor the children.

Working for our Nursery Leader, a fully qualified teacher, and alongside our experienced Early Years staff, there are great opportunities for consolidating and developing your skills.

Contract Type: Permanent to start in November 2017. Hours of Work: 22.5 hours per week Days of Week: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 1:00pm per day Working Pattern: Term time only (the salary will be pro rata) Closing Date: Thursday 19th October 2017 Interview Date: Wednesday 1st November 2017

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agencys Points-based Immigration System.
