A position has arisen within the Assessment and Treatment Services for a Senior Social Worker M10 (37 hours a week) based at East Brighton Community Mental Health Centre. 

The post holder will also be responsible for carrying out statutory functions of a Senior Social Worker and other tasks related to the provision of Mental Health Services .These duties will relate to individuals, families and carers in accordance with relevant statutory legislation.

 The post holder will undertake complex assessments, care management and co-ordination and other duties relating to the individuals, families and carers allocated to them in accordance with the NHS and Community Care Act 1990 and other statutory instruments such as the Mental Health Act, Care Act and policy and procedures.

The post holder will provide clinical supervision to other social workers  and take the lead in the provision of placements for social work students
