The Senior Accommodation Officer will assist in the creation and implementation of initiatives to develop the University Managed accommodation provision and practical implementation plans towards University student accommodation provision objectives. This role is primarily based at both Fishbourne Hall and the Stockbridge Student Village but required to work at any centre where University business is conducted that is within reasonable distance of the campus base.

The role will provide a comprehensive information and initial guidance service to students relating to University student accommodation. This role will supervise the day to day operations at Stockbridge and Fishbourne halls to ensure all legislative obligations and associated codes of practice met. In the absence of the Accommodation Manager this post holder will be required to deputise and attend meetings and deal with queries as required.

The post holder may also be required to participate in an on-call out rota and work out of hours on occasion in support of the Residential Services and University-wide objectives. This may include support to Conference/Language School activity and occasional weekend working for supporting University Open Days. The post holder will be expected to comply with relevant health and safety policies and procedures including those relating to lone working where this occurs.
