A Community Connector has been created initially for one year, to support people with learning disabilities who currently attend Burnside Day Service. This post offers an opportunity to be part of an exciting and innovative project to explore community based alternatives. The role involves working with their families and support and identifying access to community based resources. You will be optimistic and determined and have effective interpersonal skills. Some experience of working with people with a learning disability is required. Active involvement in the Community will be advantageous and a `can do' attitude is crucial.
