Harvey John accountancy recruitment is working exclusively with a Brighton based business with the recruitment of a Financial Controller due to the retirement of the current job holder. This is a great opportunity to join an established and successful business as the lead finance person enjoying hands-on role.

Reporting to the General Manager and Board, key duties of the role will include the production and maintenance of management accounts; to prepare monthly payroll and ensuring compliance with current legislation.; preparation of financial statements and audit file for year end audit; cash-flow forecasts; preparation of VAT returns; to review and develop the reporting structure of information; calculation of foreign exchange requirements and to motivate and manage a small finance team. This role will also assume the credit control function in due course.

Applicants will be professionally qualified in ether the ACCA or CIMA qualification with experience of running a finance function. Experience of Sage would be preferable.
