I am working exclusively with my client, a reputable company based near Hornchurch, to recruit for a full-time and permanent Assistant Accountant.

Reporting to the Head Of Finance, this role entails:

• Assisting with Sales Ledger & Purchase Ledger duties
• Bank Reconciliations
• VAT Returns
• Month-end duties
• Treasury
• Assisting and (at times) taking ownership for the management accounts

The ideal candidate WILL:

• Be an active ACCA or CIMA studier (though those who aren't but have lots of experience will also be considered)
• Have intermediate or advanced Excel skill
• Have AT LEAST assisting with management accounting before
• Have a minimum of 4 years' experience within finance
• Be ambitious and looking for a role and company that they can commit to grow with
