Stonepillow offers shelter, information and support to empower homeless and vulnerable people to make positive changes in their lives.

We are looking for an exceptional person with excellent management and communication skills to lead work recruiting and developing our volunteer opportunities. You will have previously worked as a volunteer or with volunteers and appreciate the importance that volunteers hold for the future of our organisation.

The post will be responsible for supporting the development of new volunteer roles and diversifying our volunteer workforce, ensuring we adopt best practice in volunteer recruitment. The post is about experimenting, being creative; identifying new ways to recruit volunteers, from new places, into new roles and then making it happen.

You will also manage our existing volunteer programme.

Ideally, you will have experience of working within a homelessness environment and the challenges this can bring.

It is essential that you will have a non-judgmental and enabling approach to supporting single homeless and vulnerable adults.
