Do you have experience of Food Safety Guidelines and an awareness of Health & Safety? Do you have experience supervising a team or experience in working in a production line environment and beleive you are ready to take the next step in your career progression? If so we may have an exciting opportunity for you.

You will be working as part of a team producing bakery dough-based products, performing various activities within the factory which include handling food through the different stages of production, from weighing ingredients, baking to packing. 

Assistant Line Supervisor and Line Supervisor roles involve managing the production lines to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of staff and equipment to produce a consistent quality product whilst conforming to all the required food manufacturing standards. 

Working in the factory environment there is a requirement based on role to be involved in moving racks and stacking boxes. There is also an element of temperature-based activities within some roles i.e. ovens or freezer proximity, appropriate PPE is provided in all cases as are uniforms and full training is given for all areas of the specific role being undertaken.

  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Attention to detail, diligent with a good work ethic
  • Organised and motivated
  • Have an understanding Food Safety Guidelines and Health & Safety
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Confident in managing people and be able to demonstrate good interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of line responsibility and willingness to learn
  • English is the language of operations on site
