Telephone Fundraisers wanted Temp to Perm (full and part time positions)

My client has become synonymous with the highest standard of fundraising in the charity sector. Their reputation is second to none, as is their training and mentoring.

Furthermore their ethical company ethos makes this opportunity all the more attractive. They call existing supporters of various charities to thank them for their support and ask for a monthly pledge commitment.

This is not a typical call centre environment, but rather an exceptionally nurturing work place where the staff are treated fairly and as individuals.

They are seeking high-calibre applicants for challenging positions in their telephone fundraising team. Previous experience of fundraising or charity work is an advantage but not essential.

What is essential is your ability to communicate and build rapport over the phone, your ability to think quickly and use your own initiative. You will also need professional telephone manner.

Full training is given (3 day course), as is additional mentoring to help you find your feet. Almost all of the senior members of staff began their journey with the company as fundraisers therefore they truly understand the role and there are real opportunities for promotions within the company.

This client actively welcomes applicants with a wide range of experience, from all walks of life and all age groups.

Hours are flexible, full or part time, but you must commit to a minimum of 21 hours per week. You must work between four and six 'prime' time shifts - which are the hours of:

Saturday: 10am to 1pm, 2pm to 5pm

Monday to Friday 6pm to 9pm.
