Fostering is rewarding, challenging and great fun. When you become one of foster carers you will become part of a great team doing their best for every child and young person.

If you enjoy looking after children and young people and can work in partnership with families and professionals we would like to hear from you. We provide you with extensive training as well as 24/7 support.

You might be single or living with your partner, male or female, gay or straight and from any ethnic background. You might be 21 or 65. You could be living in rented accommodation or in your own home.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

You must have one spare bedroom in your home, this must be comfortable and have enough space for possessions and privacy. If you are keen to look after two or more children you will need to have two or more spare bedrooms.

Experience of looking after or working with secondary school age children or children with disabilities is desirable.

Time and Space in your life - you must be available before and after school as well as during school holidays. There will be occasional meetings during the school day that you must attend so if you work it must be flexible.

Established in 2001 The Foster care Agency has looked after many hundreds of children and young people placed with our foster parents. We offer the very best care to children by recruiting, training and supervising skilled foster carers to work as part of our friendly and dynamic team.
