Fraud Claims Handler - Sussex - up to £26k plus excellent benefits.

My client is a specialist motor insurance company with a number of offices across the South East. They are currently recruiting for a fraud claims investigator to join their claims operation. As a fraud claims investigator you will be responsible for identifying and resolving motor injury fraud cases.

Responsibilities:

Screen referral cases against fraud indicators to identify (or mitigate) potential fraud.
Using a variety of desktop tools to investigate claims and claimants.
Interview claimants over the phone to validate claim.
Managing claims caseload, in accordance with the companies claims philosophy, claims handling procedures and service levels.
Adhering to agreed personal authority limits, referring to line manager for authorisation where activity exceeds such limits.
Working closely with a number of external customers liaising with field investigators, engineers, police, other insurers etc..
Assessing reports and key data received from various sources.
Presenting findings to all relevant parties involved.

You must have;
Previous experience of working in a fraud claims role, preferably from within an insurer.
Strong market knowledge of motor insurance, coupled with experience of handling personal injury cases.
Good team player with attention to detail and a highly professional approach.
Knowledge of claims regulations.
