This role is about coordinating the Adult Social Care Department’s responsibilities in respect of safeguarding quality assurance and is integral to facilitating continuous service and performance improvement.
You will be an enthusiastic person with experience in safeguarding practice. This role requires a good communicator with an eye for detail and skills of diplomacy and negotiation. Alongside having a pragmatic ‘can do’ solution focused approach.
Being fully committed to safeguarding principles such as empowerment and partnership working is also a must. You will be keen to develop an in-depth understanding of statutory guidelines and legislation. Working as part of a small team you will be flexible and adaptable to the changing needs of the service, ensuring we deliver and maintain the highest standards.
Hours of work: 24 hours per week Working pattern: Part-time
