Home Care support Workers for a residential and respite Children's Home.

As a member of the team you will:

Have a knowledge/experience of working with children and young people with disabilities and challenging needs. Enjoy supporting young people to access the community. Be committed to developing their skills in all aspects of their daily living. Be able to have fun and enjoy being part of a motivated team. Be able to manage complex and challenging behaviour including physical aggression, in a calm and professional manner. Work on a rota basis, including weekends and evenings, to complete daily tasks and ensure high standards within the home. To be able to work in the different settings for children across the service as required.

Candidates will ideally possess an QCF level 3 (previously NVQ level 3) or equivalent, but if not should have a willingness to work towards one. if possessing level 3 then appointment at scale 5 will be considered for the right candidates.
