About the Role

Buxted Saplings Village Pre-School CIC is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Manager to lead our dedicated and friendly team of well qualified staff, whilst providing high quality and effective management of the setting. Saplings Pre-School is a Community Interest Company (CIC) located in the heart of Buxted, near Uckfield. We accept children from 2 years to school age and provide a welcoming play environment where the children feel valued and enjoy a real sense of belonging.

Skills and Qualifications:

-           Must hold at least a Level 3 qualification in Childcare (NVQ) or equivalent, with at least 2 years’ management experience.

-           A degree or level 6 qualification in Early Years is desirable.

-           Must possess a strong knowledge and understanding of child development, the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum and the legal requirements that govern early years’ settings

-           The ability to prioritise the wellbeing and happiness of children.

-           Must be enthusiastic, approachable and an excellent communicator
