Based in our HQ you will be working alongside our Financial Director Adele who has been with the company for 17 years and was promoted from a very similar position to this one!

It may be that you are working towards or have recently passed an accounts qualification such as ACCA or CIMA. Either way, if accounts is your area of expertise and you would like to work in a hugely varied and diverse accountancy job we want to hear from you.

We will keep you busy, utilising your management accounts knowledge you will assist Adele put them together, prepare the journals and also the accruals & pre-payment. Other areas you will be involved in will include financial records, providing commercial and financial data to support the board of directors, monthly payroll, maintain nominal ledger, budget preparation and also making the odd cup of amazing tea!

Harnessing your natural drive and desire to get a job done properly first time we will fully support you to fulfil all of your duties. Naturally we are looking for someone who can maintain a real focus and has excellent attention to detail because of the importance of the work, however, just as important is someone who takes pride in their work and feels they can make a really positive contribution to our hardworking team.

The job will require strong Excel skills and it is expected that you will be qualified or working toward an accountancy qualification.

Hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm. As well as a competitive salary (negotiable dependant on experience) benefits also including 20 days' holiday rising with service, pension and private health care (after two years' service). Based in Queens Road we are a short walk from the train station and the famous beach.
