About the Role
We are looking for people to join our innovative team delivering fire and road safety training to businesses within East Sussex and the City of Brighton & Hove.
As a Safer Business Trainer you will be integral to the Service’s success in helping businesses to become safer by encouraging them to take appropriate action to help prevent loss of property, life or to prevent serious injury both at work and on the road.
By delivering this training, you will protect and enhance the reputation of East Sussex Fire & Rescue Service and the East Sussex Fire Authority and support our corporate aim to “achieve safer and more sustainable communities”.
You will need to have a good knowledge of factors affecting fire and road safety within East Sussex and Brighton and Hove and have experience of delivering training presentations to a wide ranging and diverse audience. You will also need to have an approachable and open communication style and be able to work both independently and as part of a team to help achieve the project goals. The ability to travel around the county is essential.
Appropriate training and support will be provided.
Additional Information
Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
