A leading professional services business based in central Crawley requires an experienced Accounts Payable Coordinator to join their finance team. Reporting to the AP Supervisor, this individual will work as part of a small and collaborative AP team and receive guidance and support from start.

Overview of duties:

• Logging invoices received and distributing for approval using invoice management system.
• Processing approved invoices on the invoice management system for input onto accounting package.
• Preparation of weekly payment run.
• Dealing with telephone and email enquiries from suppliers and colleagues.
• Updating supplier information on the accounting system.
• Recharging client disbursements and following up reconciliation differences.
• To keep supervisor fully informed of the current status of work and of any problems encountered, and to provide recommendations on how these can be resolved efficiently and effectively.
• To check in detail all work undertaken so that it is error free, and to complete work on a timely basis ensuring deadlines are met.
• Any ad hoc duties as requested by the Supervisor.
