As a key member of the Finance team, the post holder will provide a technical function within the Finance department in areas of treasury, financial accounting, financial controls and taxation, in order to meet reporting deadlines, the most significant being the Annual Report and Financial Statements. You will ensure a robust and professional finance function, including the identification, efficiency review and documentation of processes.

Using excellent interpersonal skills, the Financial Accountant will liaise and build strong relationships with internal stakeholders including members of the Vice-Chancellor’s Group, Finance Department, external stakeholders and auditors.

You will be a qualified accountant (CCAB or equivalent) with at least five years post qualification experience.
