We are currently seeking a full time Sports Biomechanics Technician to join the Sport & Exercise Biomechanics, Performance Analysis and Sports Therapy team on a temporary basis of up to 12 months to cover a period of secondment.

You will support the running of the laboratories in the Institute of Sport, with particular focus on Biomechanics as well as Sports Performance Analysis, Strength and Conditioning and Sports Therapy. The post holder will maintain laboratory facilities and equipment, and demonstrate use of equipment to staff and students. The post holder will be required to carry out duties across all degree schemes and work in multiple laboratories.

The successful candidate will be qualified to ‘A’ level/HNC standard or equivalent in a scientific discipline and you will be able to demonstrate an awareness of Health and Safety regulations within a life sciences laboratory environment. A high level of organisational and communication skills are essential for the role.
