Title: Insurance Team Leader (Property)

Salary: up to £35,000 depending on experience

This well known insurance company is seeking an experienced Property Owners Unit Manager.

The Role:

Most important parts of the job
* Leadership and development of the Property Owners desktop claims team to ensure continued performance development and achievement of objectives
* Forecasting monthly/annual budget income to the Unit based on sales Activity and ensuring the delivery of those targets.
* Lead and develop departmental planning and policy. Formulating strategic plans, aims and objectives for the team.
* Enhance our reputation in this market by evidencing exceptional value to our clients.
* Attend regular review meetings as Account Manager on a portfolio of clients.


Who we're looking for:

The ideal candidate will have:
* Previous experience in Performance Management and staff appraisal. Leadership and management experience and qualifications
* Technical knowledge by way of CII or CILA qualified. i.e. DIP CII/CILA or ACII
* Budget management and forecasting. Ability to represent the team/company with good sound presentation skills
* Good communication/Interpersonal skills are essential.
* Previous Project management experience is desirable.
* Influencing colleagues at a senior level.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Excellent client relationship skills
