Harvey John is working with a highly reputable and well-known Brighton based organisation on recruitment of a HR & Recruitment Coordinator. This is a newly created role to add to their expanding HR function, reporting directly into the Head of HR as part of a 4 person team.

This role would suit someone with sound existing recruitment experience who is looking to develop their wider HR knowledge and understanding. You will predominantly oversee the company's recruitment processes however, there are ample HR projects on the near horizon which will enable this person to quickly gain exposure across the HR field.

Overview of duties:

• Have day-to-day responsibility for smooth-running of the recruitment process
• Advise hiring managers from advertisement to employee induction
• Provide support to managers across all areas
• Promote good practice and review quality of processes
• Provide effective candidate management
• Organise interviews for short-listed applicants including interview schedules, diary management and communication
• Oversee the preparation and distribution of interview packs and collect feedback
• Ensure that pre-employment processes are completed efficiently
• Provide generalist HR support to the Head of HR as required (for example policy drafts, process mapping, ad hoc projects)

Candidates will ideally be studying towards their CIPD qualification with a view to complete.
