To support autistic adults in individual and group sessions, delivering psycho-education. Having an awareness of risk associated with Autism and mental health and being able to manage this within the job description.
To work within a defined team with responsibility for an agreed job plan including individual sessions with clients and planning and running groups (if applicable). KPI management, day to day liaison for team administrators.
The Autism Consultant will run ASD diagnostic clinics in outpatient settings in the two catchment areas, feedback diagnostic findings including running the one-off post diagnostic support group and take responsibility for the day to day clinical running of the ASD team.
his position will involve working from home as well as face to face sessions in Horsham and Worthing.
The contractual hours for this post are 25 hours per month (work pattern to be confirmed at interview)
